1 kg of meat (lizard, etc.)

Mix the flour and salt and rub it all over the meat
Melt the butter or margarine and brown the meat on all sides over high heat
Place in a baking dish
Cover with potatoes, onion, and pepper

(You can also place vegetables around the meat.) Mix tomato puree with water and pour over the meat
Cover the dish
(If you don't have a lid, cover with aluminum foil.) Roast until the meat and vegetables are tender
Add more water if it gets too dry
