400 g of ground beef
125 g of ground pork
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup of bread crumbs
1 tablespoon of salt
1 dash of black pepper
1 dash of nutmeg
2 eggs
1/2 cup of milk
3 tablespoons of butter or oil
2 cups of beef broth (use tablets)
Spicy Sauce (see recipe ahead)
Remove all the liquid from the frying pan and set it aside. If necessary, add water to obtain 1 cup of liquid. Place it back in the frying pan. Bring to a boil. Mix 2 tablespoons of flour with 3 tablespoons of water; add to the hot liquid, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens and simmers for 1 minute. Add 2 tablespoons of chopped pickles. Pour the sauce over the meatballs. Serve 8 servings.

Mix together the two ground meats, onion, bread crumbs, seasonings, eggs, and milk in a medium bowl; mix lightly with a fork
Form 48 meatballs
Fry some at the same time in oil or butter in a large frying pan
When all the meatballs are fried, remove the oil; place the meatballs back in the frying pan
Cover with beef broth and cook slowly for 15 minutes or until they're well cooked
Remove the meatballs with a slotted spoon and keep warm while preparing Spicy Sauce.
