250g of mascarpone cheese

Roughly chop the almonds, pistachios, and walnuts in a food processor with 1 tablespoon of confectioner's sugar and reserve
Do the same with the dried apricots, damascos, and figs, and reserve
Combine the mascarpone cheese, egg, remaining confectioner's sugar, wheat flour, ground almonds, and rum (if using) in a food processor and mix until smooth
Add the mixture of dried apricots, damascos, and figs to the previous mixture and mix for a few more seconds
Divide the dough into six small ramekins coated with butter and sprinkle the chopped nuts on top
Bake the ramekins in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for 20-25 minutes
Let cool slightly before removing from molds
To finish, dust the balls with confectioner's sugar
This sweet treat is delicious on its own or paired with ice cream.
