Preheat the oven to medium temperature
In a stand mixer, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy
Add the eggs and beat for another 2 minutes
Add the baking powder and flour and mix with a spoon
Add the yogurt and mix well
Place the batter in the prepared cake pan and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
