Whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and yeast in a large bowl
Add softened butter or margarine, eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla extract
Beat at medium speed for 3 minutes
Whisk together ground chocolate, cornstarch, and baking soda in a small bowl
Combine the water and whisk well
Combine 2/3 cup of the previous mixture with the remaining batter
Pour the yellowish batter into an ungreased and floured ring mold or tube pan, about 23 cm in diameter
On top, place the chocolatey batter in spoonfuls
Then make circular motions with a spatula or knife to create a marbled effect
Bake in a moderate oven (190°C) preheated for approximately 55 minutes or until, when inserting a toothpick, it comes out clean
Let cool for 1 hour
Remove from the ring mold and let cool completely
