1.5 lbs ground beef
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 can of tomato soup
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 slightly beaten egg
1 teaspoon salt
a pinch of pepper
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1/4 cup water
1/2 teaspoon mustard
4 slices of cheddar cheese
1.5 lbs ground beef
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1 can of tomato soup
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 slightly beaten egg
1 teaspoon salt
a pinch of pepper
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1/4 cup water
1/2 teaspoon mustard
4 slices of cheddar cheese
Mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, and 1/4 cup of tomato soup with the chopped onion, egg, salt, pepper, and butter or margarine
Mix well
Form two firm meatballs (same size)
Dust both sides with butter or margarine in a larger pan
Cover and cook over low heat for 25 minutes
Remove excess fat
Mix the remaining soup, water, and mustard together
Add to the pan
Place two slices of cheese on top of each meatball and cook without covering for an additional 10 minutes
Serve 4-6 servings.
