1 1/2 cups of water
4 1/2 cups of milk

In a saucepan, combine the hot chocolate mix, sugar, salt, and water
Let it simmer over low heat; let it cook slowly for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally
Add the milk; warm it well but do not let it boil
Just before serving, whisk until smooth and foamy
Serve immediately, or serve cold if you prefer
If desired, serve the chocolate frozen, chilled on ice in 5 or 6 cups
Stir well
Cover with a little whipped cream.
