Mix yeast and warm water in a small bowl and let it sit for the yeast to dissolve
In a large mixing bowl, make a well in the center of 3 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
In this well, place the eggs, butter or margarine, and dissolved yeast
Mix initially with a spoon and then knead well with your hands
Let it rest, covered with plastic wrap in a protected area
Allow the dough to rise
To check if the dough has risen enough, take a small ball of dough and put it in water
If it rises, the dough is ready for use
Spread the dough onto a 23.5 x 35 cm baking sheet
Let it rest for another 30 minutes
Poke with a fork and sprinkle all-purpose flour, salt, pepper, oregano, kummel, or your preferred seasoning
Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 30 minutes or until golden brown
