1 orange, peeled and segmented with seeds removed (+ or - 1 kg) and chopped into small pieces (about 8 cups)

Wash the oranges thoroughly
Cut them in half
Remove the seeds
Cut into thin slices without peeling
In a large saucepan, combine the oranges, mango, lemon juice, and 2 cups of water
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes or until the mango is tender
Add sugar, bring to a boil while stirring constantly, and continue cooking until it thickens and becomes transparent
Remove from heat
Skim off any foam that forms on the surface
Pour into sterilized warm cups and seal
Serve in portions of 16 tablespoons per cup
