1 cup all-purpose flour

1 1/2 cups dried white plums
1 1/2 cups dried dark plums
1/2 cup candied fruits
1/2 cup chopped nuts
2 cups breadcrumbs
1 1/2 cups fresh suet
1 cup brown sugar
2 egg yolks
1/4 cup grape juice
1/3 cup raisin syrup
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda

2 cups breadcrumbs

1 cup brown sugar
2 egg yolks
1/4 cup grape juice
1/3 cup raisin syrup
Sift the flour, baking soda, and spices
Combine the candied fruits, nuts, and breadcrumbs
Mix in the softened suet, brown sugar, eggs, grape juice, and raisin syrup
Mix well with the previous mixture
Pour into a large mold or two smaller molds
Cover with aluminum foil, sealing well
Cook in a water bath, covered pan, for about 3 hours
Let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes
Unmold and let cool slightly
Add raisin syrup, ignite, and serve over the plum pudding warm.
