1/2 cup of broken walnuts

Prepare the torte dough and place it in the molds
Do not pierce the dough
In a small bowl, beat the egg, sugar, butter, and molasses
Beat very well
Add the walnuts
Bake in a moderate oven for about 40 minutes until the filling is firm and the dough slightly golden
Let it cool
Yield 6 to 8 tortes.
