2 slices of smoked bacon
2 tablespoons (of soup) chopped onion
1 can of chicken broth with stars, or 1 envelope of fiddly chicken broth
1 can of water (use the soup can as a measure)
1/2 cup cooked and chopped green beans
2 slices of smoked bacon
2 tablespoons (of soup) chopped onion
1 can of chicken broth with stars, or 1 envelope of fiddly chicken broth
1 can of water (use the soup can as a measure)
1/2 cup cooked and chopped green beans
Fry the bacon in a pan until it's crispy
Remove the bacon from the pan and crumble it
Scoop out the excess fat left in the pan, leaving only 1 tablespoon (of soup)
Fry the onion in that same fat until it's softened
Next, add the chicken broth, water, and green beans to the pan
Simmer well, stirring occasionally
Note: If you prefer canned chicken broth, prepare it according to the package instructions and add it to the pan along with the onion and green beans
Sprinkle crumbled bacon on top and serve
