1 ripe avocado

1/2 cup natural yogurt
1/4 cup white wine
1 cup chicken broth, chilled

salt and white pepper to taste

Peel the avocado
Cut in half lengthwise
Remove the pit
Slice one of the halves into thin vertical strips: Reserve
Remove the skin
Mash the other half and strain through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl
Stir in lime juice
Combine yogurt, white wine, chicken broth, and mix well
In another bowl, whip heavy cream lightly
Add to soup, stirring carefully
Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce to taste and garnish with avocado slices
Serve as an appetizer with toasted bread
