Heat the oil in a saucepan and add the rice, stirring occasionally for about 10 minutes until it's well toasted
Add the boiling water and salt to taste
Cover the saucepan, reduce heat and cook until the rice is tender (add a little more hot water if it gets too dry)
Serve warm
