2 cups of water
1 beef bouillon tablet
1/4 teaspoon of cumin
1 cup of rice
1/2 cup of chopped onion
1/2 clove of garlic, minced
3 tablespoons of oil
1/2 teaspoon of salt
to taste

In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil and dissolve the beef bouillon tablet with the cumin
Let it simmer until it's tender
Add the rice and cover
Cook for 15 minutes or until the rice is cooked and all the liquid has been absorbed
Transfer to a bowl and refrigerate
After the rice has cooled, sauté the onion and garlic in 1 tablespoon of oil until they're soft
Remove from heat and reserve
Place the rice on a paper towel-lined plate and mix with a fork to separate the grains
Fry it in the same saucepan, adding the remaining 2 tablespoons of oil
Add the cooked onion mixture, salt, and pepper to taste
Cover and simmer
Serve the fried rice hot in a serving dish, garnished with fresh parsley.
