1 cup whole grain rice, uncooked

4 cups water

Place the rice and oil in a saucepan
Fry over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly until lightly browned
Add the water and salt
Let it come to a boil
Cover and cook on low heat for about 45 minutes or until all the liquid has been absorbed
Serve warm.
