Mix well the butter or margarine, whipped cream, egg, and vanilla
Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt
Mix well
Shape into a log about 1.5 inches in diameter
Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate until firm
Bake the oven at 400°F (200°C)
Cut into thin slices and place on an ungreased baking sheet
Bake for 10-15 minutes or until lightly golden
Let cool slightly and remove with a spatula
Yield: approximately 92 cookies (1/2 each)
