Process the sweet potatoes in a food processor with the milk until smooth
Set aside
In a stand mixer, beat the butter and sugar for 3 minutes
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition
Add the flour, baking powder, vanilla extract, and sweet potato puree
Beat until everything is well incorporated
Preheat the oven to 180°C (moderate)
Grease a 30 cm diameter cake pan, add the batter, and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean
Remove from the oven, let cool, and demold
Dust with cinnamon and nutmeg
