1 cup of sugar (180 g)

1/2 cup of all-purpose flour (60 g)
1 tablespoon of active dry yeast

Process the sweet potatoes in a blender until smooth
Set aside
In a stand mixer, cream together the butter and sugar for 3 minutes
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition
Combine the flour, yeast, vanilla extract, and mashed sweet potato
Beat until well incorporated
Preheat the oven to 350°F (moderate)
Butter a 30 cm diameter cake pan, add the batter, and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
Remove from the oven, let cool, and demold
Dust with cinnamon and nutmeg
