Mix all ingredients well
Divide the mixture into two parts
Place one part in an English-style meatloaf pan, 22 x 10 cm, without greasing
Bake in a moderate oven (170°C) for about 45 minutes
Serve immediately
Wrap the remaining mixture in aluminum foil and freeze
On the day of use, place the frozen mixture directly into the preheated oven (170°C) for about 45 minutes
For a special touch, place some slices of cheddar cheese in a cross pattern on top of the meat cake and bake for a few minutes to melt
