Preheat the oven to 200°C
In a blender, beat the carrots, eggs, oil, and sugar until smooth
In a medium bowl, combine the flour, salt, and baking powder until well mixed
Add the carrot mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring carefully until just combined
Pour into a greased and floured tube pan with 24 cm diameter
Bake in the oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
Remove from the oven, let cool, and turn out
Frosting
In a small saucepan, combine the ingredients
Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring frequently for about 10 minutes or until thickened
Spread still warm over the cake
Let cool and serve.
