1/4 cup of softened butter or margarine

1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 large eggs, separated
120g of melted dark chocolate
2 cups of all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 cup of plain yogurt or regular yogurt
1/2 cup of lukewarm milk
For the confectioner's sugar topping:
2 cups of confectioner's sugar
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 tablespoons of water

Mix the butter or margarine with 1/2 cup of sugar and vanilla extract
Add the egg yolks and mix well
Melt the chocolate and mix it with the honey, adding it to the mixture slowly
Combine the dry ingredients and yogurt, alternating between them, until smooth
Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and add 1/4 cup of sugar gradually, beating until firm and glossy
Add this mixture to the chocolate mixture and mix carefully
Add the lukewarm milk and pour into a prepared cake pan greased in the middle
Bake in a moderate oven (170°C) for about 30 minutes
While cooling, prepare the confectioner's sugar topping
Mix the confectioner's sugar with vanilla extract and water until smooth
Cover the cake immediately
