For the dough
1 cup unsalted butter,
1 cup granulated sugar,
4 large eggs,
1 teaspoon active dry yeast,
1/2 teaspoon baking soda,
2 cups all-purpose flour,
1/2 cup whole milk,
For the sauce
1 can sweetened condensed milk,
3/4 cup whole milk,
200 grams shredded coconut or from a package

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C)
Grease a baking dish measuring 30.5 cm x 20 cm
Set aside
In a stand mixer, beat all the ingredients except for the milk
Add the milk and beat a bit more
Pour the dough into the prepared baking dish and bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean
Let cool and unmold
Cut the cake into 21 squares
Set aside
In a deep bowl, mix together the sweetened condensed milk and milk
Dip each square of cake in this liquid and then in shredded coconut
Wrap the pieces in aluminum foil and refrigerate
Serve chilled.
