1 bunch of broccoli
4 slices of smoked bacon
1/4 cup of lemon juice
salt and black pepper to taste

Wash the broccoli and trim the ends off the stalks
Cook the broccoli in a large pot of boiling water for 8 minutes, or until tender but still slightly crisp
While the broccoli is cooking, cut the bacon into 1 cm pieces and fry until crispy
Add the lemon juice and simmer over low heat for 3 minutes
Drain the broccoli, arrange on a platter, and top with the bacon and lemon sauce
Season to taste with salt and black pepper, then serve
Serves 4-6 people.
