Moisten the rim of a high glass and pass the sugar
Add the liqueur, 1/2 tablespoon of sugar, and the coffee
Stir until the sugar dissolves. Reserve
Beat the heavy cream with the remaining sugar until it starts to thicken
Float on top of the coffee and serve.
