Soak the dried grapes in a cup with a splash of brandy and a pinch of sugar for half an hour
Cut the pão-de-ló into bite-sized pieces and arrange it in a buttered mold
Top this layer with a drizzle of uva-passa, some candied fruit, a layer of strawberry or raspberry jelly, and a layer of whipped cream
Alternate layers of pão-de-ló, dried grapes, candied fruit, jelly, and whipped cream
Finally, top it all off with the whipped cream
Chill in the refrigerator for two to three hours.
