In a 9-inch microwave-safe dish, combine the olive oil, bell pepper, onion, and garlic
Microwave on high for 3 minutes
Add the corn, flour dissolved in heavy cream, red pepper flakes, and salt to taste
Mix well
Cover with plastic wrap, leaving a small opening
Microwave for an additional 4 minutes, stirring once halfway through
Arrange the shrimp over the creme and cook for another 10 minutes or until they are cooked through
Let it rest for 3 minutes before serving
Serve hot
