1 kg of codfish or small fish
8 cooked scallops
5 tablespoons of butter or margarine
1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
1/2 cup of bread crumbs
salt and pepper to taste
Sauce
1/2 cup of butter or margarine
salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 tablespoons of lemon juice
1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
1 tablespoon of chopped green onion

Cut the scallops
Mix 2 tablespoons of butter, parsley, and 2/3 cup of bread crumbs
Season with salt and pepper to taste
Blend well
Stuff the fish with this mixture and close with skewers or toothpicks
Melt the remaining butter and coat the fish with it, then roll them in the remaining bread crumbs
Place in a greased baking dish
Bake at moderate heat for 20 minutes or until the fish is cooked
Remove the skewers and serve with the following sauce: blend well the butter, salt, pepper, lemon juice, parsley, and green onion
Serve 4 to 6 servings.
