1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
oil for frying
salt to taste

Dip the cod in the egg, then coat with flour and finally with breadcrumbs
Fry them in hot oil until they're golden brown on both sides
Let them drain on paper towels
Arrange the fish on a platter and serve.
