110 g of vegetable fat at room temperature
125 g of unsalted butter at room temperature
3 cups of all-purpose flour
1 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder (pack it well to get the right amount)
Half cup of granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
A pinch of baking soda
A pinch of salt
2 cups of semisweet chocolate chips
Optional: 1 cup of chopped nuts

Combine flour, salt, baking soda, chocolate, and nuts; set aside
In a mixer, beat vegetable fat, butter, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract on high speed for 30 seconds or until smooth
Add eggs and beat for an additional 10 seconds
Mix the cream into the reserved mixture until the flour disappears
Distribute the dough onto baking sheets or trays, leaving 2-3 cm between cookies to allow for spreading
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 12 minutes or until lightly golden
Remove from oven and let cool on a wire rack or wait until firm.
