To make the batter, mix well the flour, sugar, salt, and eggs, one at a time, working the mixture with a spatula or wooden spoon
Add the milk gradually, mixing well
Finally, add the rum
Arrange the black plums, without pits, in the bottom of a buttered flan dish
Pour the batter over the plums
Bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes
When removing from the oven, sprinkle with confectioner's sugar
Finally, serve with a Cointreau liqueur.
