In a medium-sized skillet, over high heat, sauté the mushrooms, garlic, and English sauce in butter, stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon, until the mushrooms start to release their liquid (3 minutes)
Add chives and stir
Add all-purpose flour, stirring constantly
Add chicken broth and cook, stirring always, until a slightly creamy mixture is obtained (about 5 minutes)
Transfer to a bowl and serve immediately
