3 medium mangos
1/2 cup of Karo
1 cup of orange juice
2 tablespoons of rum
3 medium mangos

Peel the mangoes, remove the pits and slice into wedges
In a pot, combine Karo and orange juice
Bring to a boil and let it simmer
Add some pieces of mango at a time and cook for a few minutes (they shouldn't become too mushy)
Remove the mango pieces from the pot and place them in a compote bowl
Let the sauce thicken slightly
Pour over the mango, let it cool and refrigerate
Add the rum when serving
