4 egg yolks
1 1/4 cups sugar
1/3 cup lemon juice
4 egg whites
4 egg yolks

Beat the eggs, then add half of the sugar and beat until thickened
Add the lemon juice, heat over low flame, stirring until thickened
Remove from heat
Beat the egg whites until frothy
Slowly add the remaining sugar and beat well
Add lemon to the hot mixture
Serve in cups.
