2 cups of corn flakes
1 cup of rice flakes
1/2 cup of finely chopped dark chocolate
1 cup of broken nuts
3/4 cup of Karo syrup
1/4 cup of sugar
2 tablespoons of butter
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla

Combine in a large bowl the rice flakes, corn flakes, chopped dark chocolate, and broken nuts
Mix well and reserve
Combine in a saucepan the Karo syrup with sugar and butter or margarine
Bring to a boil, cooking for 3 minutes while stirring constantly
Remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes
Add vanilla and mix with a wooden spoon until the mixture thickens slightly and becomes firm
Pour over the rice and corn flake mixture, and mix well
Let it chill slightly before serving
Use a spatula to scoop into portions and shape into balls
Chill in the refrigerator until firm.
