Combine all ingredients and stir well
Bring to a boil without stirring until it reaches a syrup consistency. Reserve

Wash the dates thoroughly, cut them in half, and remove the seeds with a spoon
Open the dates into four parts lengthwise
Cut into thin strips (rolls) using a vegetable slicer
On top of a cloth, roll the rolls like a snail
Using a sewing needle and thick thread, tie the rolls together to form a necklace
In a vessel with water, place the syrup and let the necklaces soak for 1 hour
Wash the necklaces in running water and then pass them through a pot of boiling water for 15 minutes
