Season the beef with garlic and onion
In a skillet with olive oil, fry the beef, stirring constantly until it's cooked through
Add the olives and reserve
Mix salt and nutmeg into mashed potato, add egg, butter, and beat until smooth
Spread half of the purée at the bottom and sides of a 24 cm diameter mold, greased with butter, and place the beef on top
Distribute pieces of melted Gruyère cheese over the beef and cover with the remaining purée
Gloss the surface with a wet spoon and bake in a preheated medium oven (180°C) for 30 minutes
Remove from oven, let it cool slightly and unmold
Serve hot
