1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup grated cheese (such as Cheddar or Gouda) (110g)
1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
2 tablespoons water
8 thin slices of cooked ham (120g)
1/2 cup finely chopped green onion
1 tablespoon milk
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup grated cheese (such as Cheddar or Gouda) (110g)
1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
2 tablespoons water
8 thin slices of cooked ham (120g)
1/2 cup finely chopped green onion
1 tablespoon milk
Mix together the flour, cheese, butter, and water
Divide the dough into two equal parts
Roll out each part of the dough into a rectangle about 25 x 35 cm on parchment paper sprinkled with all-purpose flour
Cut each rectangle into four pieces, each about 12 x 17 cm
Place a slice of ham on top of each piece
Dust with green onion
Roll up like a croissant
Place each roll in a lightly greased baking dish
Baste with milk
Bake in a hot oven (220°C) for about 30 minutes, or until golden brown
Remove from the oven and cut each roll into four slices
You should now have 32 ham and cheese roll-ups
They can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
