1 Cook the black beans with water and vegetable broth until tender
In a pan, heat the olive oil and fry the ground beef until browned
2 Add the chopped onion, garlic, and tomatoes
Simmer until the ground beef is well cooked
Add the cooked black beans
3 Season with salt and pepper if needed
Simmer until the liquid has thickened
4 Add the cubes of cheddar cheese and cilantro
Serve with rice.
