Preheat the oven to medium temperature
Mash the garlic and mix it with the butter
Rub the beef with the mixture
Season with salt and black pepper

Place in the oven for 35 minutes, basting every five minutes with melted butter in the roasting pan
Transfer the meat to a serving platter and cut into medium-sized slices, 1.5 cm thick
Place half a cup of water in the roasting pan, scrape the bottom with a spoon and cook over low heat for five minutes to reduce slightly
Be careful not to burn it
Brush the meat with this sauce and serve with white rice or potatoes.
