Select the prettiest cabbage leaves and blanch them in boiling salted water
Preheat the oven
In a pan, melt the butter, add the ham, green onions, and rice
Let it simmer for a bit, stirring constantly
Place a small amount of the mixture onto each cabbage leaf
Roll up the leaves tightly and secure them with toothpicks, if needed
Arrange the rolls in a baking dish
Add the chicken broth
Put the dish in the oven at a moderate temperature and let it cook for about 40 minutes
If it starts to dry out, add more broth
Serve warm with heated tomato sauce
