1 tablespoon of thyme or 1 tablespoon of fresh thyme
2 tablespoons of vinegar
1/4 cup of butter
2 tablespoons of olive oil
3 chopped onions
1 minced garlic clove
1 1.5 kg chicken
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup of white wine
1/2 cup of chicken broth
2 tablespoons of chopped parsley
1/2 cup of diced ham

Soak the thyme in vinegar
Fry the onion and garlic in butter and olive oil
Let it brown
Baste the chicken with the same pan, adding the vinegar, thyme, salt, pepper, white wine, and chicken broth
Sprinkle with chopped parsley
Cover and let it simmer over low heat for 20 to 30 minutes, until the chicken is tender
Five minutes before serving the chicken, add the diced ham
Serve in 3 or 4 portions.
