4 medium sweet potatoes, peeled
1 medium zucchini
1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons lemon juice
8 fish fillets (optional)

Grate the sweet potatoes and zucchini coarsely (do not wash or dry afterwards)
Mix well and season with salt
Grease a large non-stick skillet with butter
Heat the skillet over medium heat
Add 1/3 cup of the sweet potato-zucchini mixture and shape into patties
Fry until golden brown, flipping halfway through
Repeat until all the batter is used up
Beat the heavy cream with lemon juice until slightly thickened
Serve the fritters with a spoonful of the cream and a slice of smoked fish
Serves 8.
