Combine all ingredients in a pot
Let it simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves
Increase the heat and cook for about 30 minutes or until it thickens, stirring frequently to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pot
Pour, still hot, into warm glass containers, leaving a 6 mm gap at the top
Adjust the lid and process in a water bath, in boiling water, for 15 minutes
Let set 1 1/2 pint jar.
