5 1/2 cups of strawberries
5 cups of granulated sugar
1/2 cup of lemon juice
5 1/2 cups of strawberries

1/2 cup of lemon juice
Wash and dry the strawberries
Place them in a large saucepan
Add the sugar and heat slowly
When the sugar has dissolved, increase the heat and let it boil vigorously for 10 minutes
Boil for exactly another 2 minutes after adding the lemon juice
Pour into sterilized hot jars and seal hermetically.
