1/2 kg of jilo
2 tablespoons of oil
4 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
1 tablespoon of ground cumin
1 tablespoon of cinnamon
1 tablespoon of curry powder
1 tablespoon of dark cocoa powder
1 teaspoon of green pepper in grains
Salt to taste
1/2 kg of jilo

Wash the jilos, drain and cut them into four parts
Heat the oil and add the jilo
Simmer for 5 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally and keeping the pan covered
Add the garlic, parsley, cumin, cinnamon, curry powder, cocoa powder, green pepper, and salt
Cook for another 8 minutes or until
the jilo becomes tender
Serve in small portions.
