Dissolve the sugar in two cups full of water and bring to a boil until a syrup forms
Let it cool and combine the finely chopped rinds from the oranges and lemon
Mix well and cover the container for a bit over an hour
Then add the orange and lemon juice and just over half a liter of water
Mix well and strain through a cheesecloth, squeezing out as much liquid as possible
Pour into a jar and refrigerate.
