Cut two of the lemons into 1/2 cm slices
Place them in a small bowl
Add 1/2 cup of sugar and thoroughly mash the slices with a potato masher or an electric mixer
Let it rest for 15 minutes
Soak the remaining lemons in boiling water for 5 minutes
Let them steep slightly, cut them in half, and squeeze the juice
Combine the juice, water, remaining sugar, and mashed lemon slices in a jar
Mix well to dissolve the sugar
Add ice cubes and nutmeg to enhance the lemon flavor
Bottle it in a thermos
Serves 6-8 people.
