2 tablespoons of melted and cooled butter
1 tablespoon of ground mahlab (available at Middle Eastern stores)
3/4 cup of milk, approximately

1 tablespoon of orange blossom water 350g of chopped almonds and hazelnuts

Mix the semolina with the butter gradually
Let it rest for 12 hours
Then add the mahlab and milk gradually, mixing always until a soft, light, and homogeneous dough forms
Mix the filling ingredients and set aside
Shape into balls and place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each one
Arrange the pastry puffs in a baking dish and bake at low heat
Bake until firm but pale
Dust with confectioner's sugar before serving
