8 oz cooked ham
8 oz ground beef
1 sprig of salt
1 clove and 2 onions
1 carrot
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup red wine
5 cups fresh tomato, peeled
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
salt and pepper to taste

Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan, then add the ham and cook until browned
Add the ground beef, some minutes after
Stir well
After a few minutes, add the carrot, onions, and salt, finely chopped
Cook for 5 minutes
Add the red wine
Let it simmer slowly without a lid, stirring occasionally, until the wine evaporates
Sprinkle flour over the mixture
Mix well
Add the tomatoes and seasonings to taste
Add some tablespoons of water
Cover and let it simmer slowly until the tomatoes break down and form a creamy sauce with the meats
Add 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
Check the seasoning
If desired, add 1 cup red wine to thin the sauce.
